Chauffer or Passenger?

By Steve. On July 24, 2009 Under The Nitty Gritty

So by now, what are you thinking? When I first started I really had no idea what to expect. I knew  it would be hard work but I really did not know what that work would entail.

I guess at this point you’ve jotted some ideas down on the sheet of paper and managed to put them in three columns, have you arranged the columns in order of importance?

Are you thinking just as I did, can I really do this – am I clever enough to do this?

The answer, yes of course you are.    For the last 25 to 30 years I have worked on machine tools, so if I can do this !! Then you can do it also.

If you have in front of you a sheet of paper with three lists on it congratulations. You my friend have just taken the most important step of your life, it is the first step in starting your Internet business.

You have without knowing answered the question at the top of this post – Chauffer or Passenger?

In other words do you want to work for somebody else and be the chauffer or do you want to be in the back being driven by the chauffer?

From the answer you have given it is clear you wish to employ the chauffer not be the chauffer!

Alex Jeffries told us this:- “An idiot with a plan will always beat the genius without a plan.” This statement shows us the importance of planning.

Okay so we need to plan, I will leave you with this thought. You can mull this over in your own time and come up with the next few steps that you think you ought to take in order to build your online business then we’ll have a look at your list and see if it differs from mine.

Okay friends a short post this time just to give you something to think about. If you have any questions or comments I will be please to hear them. Catch you in the next post in a couple of days time.

 Regards Steve.

Hi Steve,

I have enjoyed all the blog posts you have put out so far. I expect internet marketing is well out of your usual comfort zone so I applaud you for taking action and getting this far.

This is just the beginning though, things will get a lot more fun than this!

Keep in touch.

For me it has always been a simple answer. I’m always going to lead, even if my ship is sinking. Why? Because I will never obey others orders and do what I’m being told.

You’re welcome Steve. I highly recommend you to not only try to answer all comments but also visit the authors site and leaving a comment. By doing so they will probably always come to you again.

I’m just fine. Just two more days until my operation but hopefully everything will go well.
