The importance of blog commenting, For A Newbie Up Date.
Update to the previous post the importance of blog commenting in newbie.
In the first post I talked about use of a software program Tristana reader which is an RSS reader that can be used to update and read other people’s blogs, this is much quicker than manually logging on and off to the blog each time you want to see if there’s an update or comment. One of the comments I received on that post was from David Walker and he in his comment told me about another little program called Wizz Rss.
This little program is an add-on for Mozilla Firefox which is a web browser. I will put a link to that site at the end of this post. All you do is download the add-on to work with the browser Firefox, I have to point out at this time, you must use the the most up-to-date version of Firefox if you’re running an older version this little add on will not work. Don’t worry you can download the newest version of Firefox on the same page that you download the Wizz RSS files from. The main difference I could see between the two programs Tristana and Wizz, is the fact that with Wizz it will mark the posts as read, so at a glance you can tell the new posts from the old ones.
Okay I have done a short video on how to install this little program. It’s quite simple to do, it doesn’t take very long, all you have to do is make sure that you’ve got the latest version of Firefox installed first, if not it won’t work.
Okay this is just a short post just to keep you up-to-date to let you know our friend David Walker told me about another little program that would do the same thing. So thank you very much Dave much appreciated.
As part of the Wizz RSS program there is an extensive help file and videos indeed you can find out all you want to know so you should have no problems. If you are using either of these little progs I would like to hear your comments please.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for sharing the knowledge, but I am afraid the link is missing from this post at the time of writing this comments. Site is building nicely, if you have any ideas what you would like to do with your header graphic then let me know as I am getting fairly good with photoshop. I could knock you one up if you told me what you had in mind. You can keep the blue background image, I could just add some text and graphics to it, no charge of course.

I have commented on around 70 blogs in and outside the community in the last week – what a task, but hopefully the oil rig effect comes out of it.
Nice blog, BTW might be worth splitting your posts into 2 or 3 line sentences and enlarging the font to make sure people are more likely to read your posts.
One of the other students said that verdana font size 13 works…

I couldn’t get your link to work. I put on my first vid today and you have to copy the embedded code into the page with the HMTL tab clicked first, with on text in there, then click the text tab and put the text back in. hope this helps

Great site you got here full of valuable info. What I realized is people eventually got tired of employment after doing it for so many years, then decide to try something else to generate income.
